Deuteronomy 28:48

maka kamu akan menjadi hamba musuh-musuhmu yang dikerahkan Tuhan untuk melawan kamu dalam keadaan lapar haus telanjang serta kekurangan segala sesuatu Mereka akan memasang kuk besi pada tengkuk kamu hingga mereka memunahkan kamu

Job 15:26

Kemudian Nabi Hananya mengambil kuk dari tengkuk Nabi Yeremia lalu mematahkannya

Di depan mata seluruh rakyat Hananya berkata demikian Beginilah firman Tuhan Begitulah akan Kupatahkan kuk Nebukadnezar raja Babel dari tengkuk segala bangsa dalam dua tahun ini Nabi Yeremia pun pergi meneruskan perjalanannya

Lalu datanglah firman Tuhan kepada Yeremia setelah Nabi Hananya mematahkan kuk daripada tengkuk Nabi Yeremia

Beginilah firman Tuhan alam semesta Allah Israel Aku telah memasang kuk daripada besi pada tengkuk segala bangsa ini supaya mereka takluk kepada Nebukadnezar raja Babel Mereka akan takluk kepadanya Bahkan binatang liar pun telah Kuserahkan kepadanya

Pada hari itu demikianlah firman Tuhan alam semesta Aku akan mematahkan kuk dari tengkuk mereka dan memutuskan tali pengikat mereka Orang asing tidak akan memperhamba mereka lagi
