Deuteronomy 26:14

Daripada persembahan itu tidak sesuatu pun kumakan ketika aku berkabung tidak sesuatu pun kukeluarkan ketika aku dalam keadaan najis dan tidak sesuatu pun kupersembahkan kepada orang mati Sebaliknya aku mematuhi Tuhan Allahku dan melakukan segala yang Engkau perintahkan kepadaku

Hosea 9:4

Mereka tidak akan mencurahkan persembahan minuman air anggur kepada Tuhan korban-korban sembelihan mereka tidak akan menyenangkan Dia Roti mereka seperti roti kalangan yang berkabung semua yang memakannya akan bernajis Roti mereka itu untuk diri mereka sendiri dan tidak akan masuk ke dalam Bait Tuhan
