Deuteronomy 16:2

Hendaklah kamu menyembelih korban Paskah daripada kawanan domba atau kawanan lembu untuk dipersembahkan kepada Tuhan Allahmu di tempat yang akan dipilih Tuhan sebagai tempat untuk menegakkan nama-Nya

Deuteronomy 16:5

Engkau tidak boleh mempersembahkan korban Paskah di salah satu kotamu yang dikurniakan Tuhan Allahmu kepadamu

Deuteronomy 16:6

tetapi hendaklah dipersembahkan di tempat yang akan dipilih Tuhan Allahmu sebagai tempat untuk menegakkan nama-Nya Di sanalah engkau harus mempersembahkan korban Paskah pada waktu senja ketika matahari terbenam bertepatan dengan waktu ketika engkau keluar dari Mesir

Setelah itu mereka menyembelih korban Paskah pada hari keempat belas pada bulan kedua Para imam dan bani Lewi berasa malu lalu menyucikan diri dan membawa korban-korban bakaran ke Bait Tuhan

Sembelihlah korban Paskah sucikanlah dirimu dan adakanlah persediaan bagi para saudaramu supaya dilaksanakan apa yang difirmankan Tuhan dengan perantaraan Musa

Kepada kaum awam Yosia memberikan sumbangan peribadi sebanyak 30,000 ekor kambing dan domba iaitu anak domba dan anak kambing semuanya sebagai korban Paskah bagi semua orang yang hadir Dia juga menyumbangkan 3,000 ekor lembu semuanya daripada harta benda raja

Para pembesarnya pun memberikan sumbangan sukarela kepada rakyat para imam dan bani Lewi Hilkia Zakharia dan Yehiel para ketua pegawai Rumah Allah memberikan kepada para imam 2,600 ekor korban Paskah dan tiga ratus ekor lembu

Konanya dan kedua-dua saudaranya iaitu Semaya dan Netaneel juga Hasabya Yeiel dan Yozabad para pemimpin bani Lewi menyumbangkan 5,000 ekor korban Paskah dan 500 ekor lembu kepada bani Lewi

Mereka memanggang korban Paskah di atas api selaras dengan peraturan yang ditetapkan manakala segala persembahan suci direbus mereka di dalam periuk kuali dan belanga Kemudian mereka cepat-cepat membawanya kepada seluruh kaum awam

Para imam dan bani Lewi bersama-sama menyucikan diri sehingga sucilah mereka semua Kemudian bani Lewi menyembelih korban Paskah bagi semua yang pulang daripada pembuangan bagi saudara-saudara mereka iaitu para imam dan bagi diri mereka sendiri
