Deuteronomy 13:1

Seandainya muncul seorang nabi atau seorang pemimpi dalam kalangan kamu dan dia menunjukkan kepadamu suatu tanda ajaib atau mukjizat

Deuteronomy 13:3

jangan dengarkan kata-kata nabi atau pemimpi itu kerana Tuhan Allahmu sedang menguji kamu untuk mengetahui adakah kamu sungguh-sungguh mengasihi Tuhan Allahmu dengan sepenuh hatimu dan dengan sepenuh jiwamu

Deuteronomy 13:5

Hendaklah nabi atau pemimpi itu dihukum mati kerana dia telah mencetuskan api pemberontakan terhadap Tuhan Allahmu yang membawa kamu keluar dari Tanah Mesir dan yang membebaskan engkau dari tempat perhambaan Pemimpi itu bermaksud menyesatkan kamu daripada mengikuti jalan yang sepatutnya kamu tempuhi sebagaimana yang diperintahkan Tuhan Allahmu kepadamu Oleh itu singkirkanlah yang jahat itu daripada kalangan kamu
