Genesis 21:12

Tetapi Allah berfirman kepada Abraham Janganlah bersusah hati kerana anak itu dan hamba perempuanmu itu Semua yang dikatakan Sarah kepadamu haruslah kamu dengar kerana keturunan daripada Ishak yang akan disebut sebagai keturunanmu

Exodus 20:10

tetapi hari ketujuh ialah hari Sabat bagi Tuhan Allahmu Pada hari itu jangan melakukan pekerjaan apa-apa pun baik kamu anak lelakimu anak perempuanmu hamba lelakimu hamba perempuanmu haiwanmu mahupun pendatang yang ada di kotamu

Exodus 23:12

Selama enam hari hendaklah kamu lakukan pekerjaanmu tetapi pada hari ketujuh hendaklah kamu berhenti Dengan demikian lembumu serta keldaimu dapat beristirahat dan anak hamba perempuanmu serta para pendatang dapat melepaskan lelah
