Deuteronomy 6:17

Hendaklah kamu benar-benar berpegang teguh pada perintah-perintah Tuhan Allahmu serta segala peringatan dan kanun yang disampaikan-Nya kepadamu

Demikianlah segala laknat itu akan datang ke atasmu mengejar kamu dan sampai kepadamu hingga kamu punah kerana kamu tidak mahu mematuhi Tuhan Allahmu dan tidak berpegang teguh pada segala perintah serta kanun-Nya yang disampaikan-Nya kepadamu
