Deuteronomy 4:19

Jangan pula kamu melayangkan pandangan ke langit untuk memperhatikan matahari bulan dan bintang semua benda langit lalu kamu terdorong untuk sujud menyembah serta beribadat kepada benda-benda itu Semua itu telah diberikan Tuhan Allahmu kepada segala bangsa di seluruh kolong langit sebagai bahagian mereka

2 Kings 21:3

Dia membina kembali bukit-bukit pemujaan yang sudah dimusnahkan oleh Hizkia ayahnya lalu didirikannya pelbagai mazbah iaitu tempat pembakaran korban bagi Baal serta dibuatnya patung Asyera seperti yang dilakukan Ahab raja Israel Dia sujud menyembah segala benda langit dan beribadat kepadanya
