Dahulunya bani Hori juga tinggal di Seir tetapi bani Esau mengusir mereka Bani Esau menghapuskan mereka dari hadapan mereka lalu tinggal di sana menggantikan mereka seperti yang dilakukan orang Israel di negeri yang dikurniakan Tuhan kepada mereka menjadi milik mereka
