Kemudian kita berangkat dari Horeb dan berjalan melalui gurun yang luas dan menakutkan seperti yang telah kamu lihat ke arah pergunungan bani Amori selaras dengan perintah Tuhan Allah kita Lalu sampailah kita di Kadesh-Barnea

Aku berumur empat puluh tahun ketika Musa hamba Tuhan itu mengutus aku dari Kadesh-Barnea untuk mengintip negeri ini dan aku kembali kepadanya membawa laporan yang selaras dengan hati nuraniku
