Setelah mereka membawa keluarga itu keluar berkatalah seorang daripada malaikat itu Larilah selamatkanlah nyawamu Jangan menoleh ke belakang dan jangan berhenti di mana-mana pun di lembah ini Larilah ke pergunungan supaya kamu tidak dilenyapkan

Genesis 19:25

Dia menelungkupkan kota-kota itu bahkan seluruh lembah seluruh penduduk serta tumbuh-tumbuhan di tanah

Dilayangkannya pandang ke arah Sodom dan Gomora serta seluruh lembah itu Tampak asap membumbung dari tanah itu seperti asap dari sebuah relau

Pada waktu Allah memusnahkan kota-kota di lembah itu Dia mengingat perjanjian-Nya dengan Abraham Oleh sebab itu Dia menyuruh Lut keluar dari tengah-tengah kehancuran itu sewaktu Dia menelungkupkan kota-kota raya tempat Lut tinggal
