Bani Moab menjadi sangat takut akan orang Israel kerana jumlah mereka sangat ramai Hati mereka kecut menghadapi orang Israel

Berfirmanlah Tuhan kepada Yosua Jangan takut menghadapi mereka Esok pada waktu seperti ini Aku akan menyerahkan mereka semua kepada orang Israel dalam keadaan tewas Potonglah urat keting kuda-kuda mereka dan bakarlah habis segala rata mereka
