Allah melihat cahaya itu baik lalu Dia memisahkan cahaya itu daripada kegelapan

Genesis 1:6

Berfirmanlah Allah Jadilah cakerawala di tengah-tengah segala air itu untuk memisahkan air daripada air

Nehemiah 10:28

Rakyat selebihnya iaitu para imam bani Lewi para penjaga pintu gerbang para penyanyi para hamba Bait Allah dan semua orang yang memisahkan diri daripada umat negeri itu demi mematuhi hukum Taurat Allah berserta para isteri mereka anak-anak mereka baik lelaki mahupun perempuan dan semua orang yang dapat mengerti dan memahami hukum tersebut
