Numbers 7:1

Pada hari Musa selesai mendirikan Khemah Suci dan mengurapi serta menyucikan Khemah itu berserta segala kelengkapannya dan begitu jugalah diurapi dan ditakdiskannya mazbah berserta segala kelengkapannya

Numbers 9:16

Demikianlah selalu terjadi Awan melitupi Khemah itu dan pada malam hari ada sesuatu yang kelihatan seperti api

Numbers 16:42

Seluruh umat berkumpul melawan Musa dan Harun Tetapi ketika mereka berpaling ke arah Khemah Pertemuan tampak awan menutupi Khemah itu dan kemuliaan Tuhan pun terlihat

Numbers 18:7

Tetapi hendaklah kamu dan anak-anakmu memegang jawatan imam dalam segala hal yang berkaitan dengan mazbah serta apa yang ada di balik tabir Lakukanlah pekerjaan itu Jawatan imam Kukurniakan kepadamu sebagai suatu pemberian hendaklah orang awam yang berani mendekati Khemah itu dihukum mati

Bani Lewi sahajalah yang harus melaksanakan pekerjaan di Khemah Pertemuan dan merekalah yang harus menanggung akibat daripada kesalahan terhadap Khemah itu Itulah suatu ketetapan yang berkuat kuasa untuk selama-lamanya bagimu turun-temurun Mereka tidak akan mendapat harta pusaka dalam kalangan orang Israel
