Jalankanlah banci penduduk yang berasingan atas bani Kehat daripada kalangan bani Lewi menurut kaum dan keluarga masing-masing

Sesungguhnya Aku telah memilih saudara-saudaramu bani Lewi daripada kalangan orang Israel sebagai pemberian untukmu Mereka telah diserahkan kepada Tuhan untuk melaksanakan pekerjaan di Khemah Pertemuan

kerana persembahan sepersepuluh orang Israel yang diserahkan sebagai persembahan khusus kepada Tuhan telah Kukurniakan kepada bani Lewi menjadi harta pusaka mereka Itulah sebabnya tentang mereka Aku berfirman bahawa mereka tidak akan mendapat harta pusaka dalam kalangan orang Israel
