Genesis 15:9

Firman Tuhan kepadanya Ambillah bagi-Ku seekor lembu betina muda seekor kambing betina dan seekor domba jantan masing-masing berumur tiga tahun juga seekor burung tekukur dan seekor anak burung merpati

Deuteronomy 21:3

Setelah didapati kota yang terdekat dengan orang yang terbunuh itu maka hendaklah para tua-tua kota itu mengambil seekor lembu betina muda yang belum pernah dijadikan haiwan tenaga dan belum pernah dipasangkan kuk

Deuteronomy 21:4

Kemudian hendaklah para tua-tua kota itu membawa lembu muda itu turun ke lembah berair yang belum pernah dibajak dan belum pernah disemai dan di lembah itu hendaklah mereka mematahkan batang leher lembu betina muda itu

Kemudian hendaklah kesemua tua-tua dari kota yang terdekat dengan tempat orang yang terbunuh itu membasuh tangan mereka di atas lembu betina muda yang batang lehernya dipatahkan di lembah itu
