Numbers 3:7

Mereka harus menunaikan segala tugas untuk Harun dan untuk seluruh umat itu di depan Khemah Pertemuan dengan melaksanakan pekerjaan di Khemah Suci

Numbers 8:26

Namun demikian mereka boleh membantu saudara mereka yang sedang menunaikan kewajipan masing-masing di Khemah Pertemuan tetapi mereka tidak lagi melakukan pekerjaan itu Demikianlah kewajipan yang harus kamu tugaskan kepada bani Lewi

Sekalipun awan itu berhenti cukup lama di atas Khemah Suci maka orang Israel menunaikan kewajipan mereka terhadap Tuhan dan tidak berangkat

Berpandukan firman Tuhan mereka berkhemah dan berpandukan firman Tuhan jugalah mereka berangkat Mereka menunaikan kewajipan mereka terhadap Tuhan berpandukan firman Tuhan dengan perantaraan Musa

Kamu tidak menunaikan kewajipan dalam hal barang-barang tempat suci-Ku melainkan kamu mengangkat orang lain itu untuk menunaikan kewajipan di tempat suci-Ku

Ezekiel 44:14

Walaupun demikian mereka Kutetapkan untuk menunaikan tugas di Bait Suci khususnya segala pekerjaan yang berhubungan dengan Bait itu dan segala sesuatu yang perlu dilakukan di situ

Ezekiel 44:15

Akan tetapi mereka yang akan mendekat kepada-Ku untuk menyelenggarakan ibadat bagi-Ku ialah para imam Lewi dari bani Zadok yang menunaikan tugas di tempat suci-Ku ketika orang Israel berpaling daripada Aku Mereka akan bertugas di hadirat-Ku untuk mempersembahkan lemak dan darah kepada-Ku demikianlah firman Tuhan Allah

Ezekiel 44:16

Selain itu mereka pun akan masuk ke dalam tempat suci-Ku dan mendekati meja suci-Ku untuk menyelenggarakan ibadat bagi-Ku Mereka akan menunaikan kewajipan mereka terhadap Aku
