Lembah Sidim penuh dengan lubang tar dan ketika raja-raja Sodom dan Gomora melarikan diri ke Lembah Sidim ada beberapa daripada mereka yang terperosok ke dalam lubang-lubang tar itu manakala yang masih hidup melarikan diri ke pergunungan
