Lut pun mengimbas dan meneliti keseluruhan wilayah di sekelilingnya Dia nampak betapa seluruh Lembah Yordan diairi dengan baik seperti taman Tuhan seperti Tanah Mesir ke arah Zoar Itulah keadaannya sebelum Tuhan memusnahkan Sodom dan Gomora

Maka Lut memilih daerah di seluruh Lembah Yordan lalu berangkatlah dia ke sebelah timur Selepas itu mereka berpisah
