Leviticus 17:5

Perintah itu bertujuan agar korban sembelihan yang biasa dipersembahkan oleh orang Israel di padang terbuka mereka dibawa kepada Tuhan dengan menyerahkannya kepada imam di pintu Khemah Pertemuan dan dipersembahkan sebagai korban kedamaian kepada Tuhan
