Akan tetapi kambing jantan yang terundi bagi Azazel hendaklah ditempatkan hidup-hidup di hadapan Tuhan untuk upacara pendamaian lalu dilepaskan ke gurun untuk Azazel

Numbers 16:30

Akan tetapi jika Tuhan membuat sesuatu yang baru dan tanah mengangakan mulutnya serta menelan mereka bersama dengan segala sesuatu yang dimiliki mereka hinggakan mereka turun hidup-hidup ke alam kubur maka kamu akan tahu bahawa orang ini telah menista Tuhan

Numbers 16:33

Demikianlah mereka turun hidup-hidup ke alam kubur berserta semua yang ada pada mereka Bumi pun tertutup semula dan mereka binasa daripada tengah-tengah jemaah itu
