Leviticus 13:4

Jika terdapat bintik-bintik putih pada kulit tubuhnya tetapi kelihatannya hal itu tidak berakar lebih dalam daripada lapisan kulit dan bulunya pun tidak berubah menjadi putih maka hendaklah imam mengasingkan orang yang berpenyakit itu selama tujuh hari

maka hendaklah imam memeriksanya Jika terbukti bahawa bulu pada bintik-bintik itu telah berubah menjadi putih dan kelihatannya berakar lebih dalam daripada lapisan kulit maka itulah jangkitan penyakit yang muncul di tempat luka terbakar itu Hendaklah imam mengisytiharkan orang itu najis Itu jangkitan penyakit

Hendaklah dia memeriksa tanda jangkitan itu Jika terbukti tanda pada dinding rumah itu berupa lekuk-lekuk yang kehijau-hijauan atau kemerah-merahan dan kelihatannya berakar lebih dalam daripada permukaan dinding
