Leviticus 13:3

Hendaklah imam memeriksa kudis pada kulit tubuh orang itu Jika bulu di tempat jangkitan itu sudah berubah menjadi putih dan kelihatan betapa penyakit itu sudah berakar lebih dalam daripada lapisan kulit di tubuhnya maka kudisnya itu jangkitan penyakit kulit Setelah imam selesai memeriksanya hendaklah dia mengisytiharkan bahawa orang itu najis

Hendaklah imam memeriksanya Jika terbukti bengkak pada kepalanya yang botak atau dahinya yang gondol itu menjadi putih kemerah-merahan dan kelihatan seperti penyakit memang menyerang kulit tubuhnya
