Leviticus 11:4

Akan tetapi kamu tidak boleh makan antara haiwan yang hanya mengunyah bahan mamahan atau yang hanya terbelah kuku kakinya Jenis-jenis haiwan yang berikut tidak boleh kamu makan Unta haiwan yang mengunyah bahan mamahan tetapi tidak terbelah kuku kakinya adalah haram bagimu

Leviticus 11:5

Leviticus 11:6

Arnab haiwan yang juga mengunyah bahan mamahan walaupun kuku kakinya tidak terbelah adalah haram bagimu

Babi yang kuku kakinya terbelah walaupun babi tidak mengunyah bahan mamahan adalah haram bagimu

Leviticus 11:8

Maka janganlah kamu makan daging haiwan-haiwan itu dan jangan kamu sentuh bangkainya kerana semua itu haram bagimu

Antara segala haiwan yang berjalan dengan keempat-empat kakinya haram bagimu jenis yang berjalan di atas telapak kakinya Sesiapa pun yang menyentuh bangkainya menjadi najis sampai waktu maghrib

Leviticus 11:28

dan hendaklah sesiapa yang membawa bangkainya mencuci pakaiannya dan menjadi najis sampai waktu maghrib Kesemua itu haram bagimu

Leviticus 11:29

Antara makhluk kecil yang berkerumun di atas tanah inilah yang haram bagimu tikus mondok tikus pelbagai jenis cicak

Itulah makhluk merangkak yang haram bagimu Oleh itu sesiapa yang menyentuh haiwan itu yang telah mati menjadi najis sampai waktu maghrib

Deuteronomy 14:7

Namun begitu haiwan-haiwan yang hanya mengunyah bahan mamahan atau hanya terbelah kuku kakinya jangan kamu makan Unta arnab dan landak jangan kamu makan kerana semua haiwan itu memang mengunyah bahan mamahan tetapi tidak terbelah kuku kakinya Jadi semua itu haram bagimu

Deuteronomy 14:8

Demikian pula babi kerana haiwan ini memang terbelah kuku kakinya tetapi tidak mengunyah bahan mamahan Jadi haiwan itu haram bagimu Jangan kamu makan daging haiwan-haiwan itu dan jangan juga kamu sentuh bangkainya
