Leviticus 4:7

Kemudian hendaklah imam itu membubuh sebahagian daripada darah itu pada tanduk-tanduk mazbah pembakaran dupa harum yang ada di hadapan Tuhan di dalam Khemah Pertemuan manakala segala baki darah lembu itu hendaklah dicurahkannya ke kekaki mazbah korban bakaran di depan pintu Khemah Pertemuan

Leviticus 8:24

Kemudian anak-anak Harun dibawa ke hadapan lalu Musa membubuh sebahagian daripada darah itu pada cuping telinga kanan mereka pada ibu jari tangan kanan mereka dan pada ibu jari kaki kanan mereka Setelah itu Musa memercikkan baki darah itu ke sekeliling mazbah

Daripada baki minyak di telapak tangannya hendaklah imam membubuh sebahagian pada cuping telinga kanan orang yang hendak disucikan pada ibu jari tangan kanannya serta ibu jari kaki kanannya di atas bekas darah korban penebus kesalahan
