Leviticus 1:15

Imam hendaklah membawa burung itu ke mazbah lalu memulas kepalanya dan membakarnya di atas mazbah itu Darahnya hendaklah disalirkan keluar di tepi mazbah

Leviticus 5:9

Kemudian sebahagian daripada darah korban penghapus dosa itu hendaklah dipercikkannya pada tepi mazbah manakala segala darah yang berbaki itu hendaklah disalirkan keluar ke kekaki mazbah Itulah korban penghapus dosa
