Genesis 11:6

Maka berfirmanlah Tuhan Sesungguhnya jika mereka yang satu bangsa dan sama bahasa pertuturan mereka sudah mula membuat sebegini maka apa-apa pun niat yang hendak dilaksanakan mereka tidak ada yang tidak dapat dicapai oleh mereka

Keesokan harinya Musa berkata kepada umat itu Kamu telah melakukan dosa besar maka aku akan naik menghadap Tuhan mudah-mudahan aku mendapat pendamaian bagi dosa kamu itu
