Selama empat puluh hari empat puluh malam Musa berada di sana bersama-sama Tuhan dan selama itulah dia tidak makan roti dan tidak minum air dan dia menulis firman perjanjian iaitu Sepuluh Perintah di atas loh-loh batu itu
