Firman-Nya Segala kegemilangan-Ku akan Kulalukan di hadapanmu dan Aku akan menyeru nama Tuhan di hadapanmu Aku akan mengasihani sesiapa yang Kukasihani dan Aku akan berbelas kasihan kepada sesiapa yang Kubelaskasihi

Numbers 33:55

Akan tetapi jika kamu tidak mengusir penduduk tempatan negeri itu dari hadapanmu maka orang yang kamu tinggalkan hidup daripada kalangan mereka akan menjadi seperti onak di matamu dan duri di rusuk kamu Mereka akan menyusahkan kamu di negeri yang kamu diami

Deuteronomy 9:4

Setelah Tuhan Allahmu mengusir mereka dari hadapanmu janganlah kamu berkata demikian dalam hatimu Kerana kesalihanku itu maka Tuhan membawa aku masuk menduduki negeri ini Padahal kerana kefasiqan bangsa-bangsa itulah Tuhan mengusir mereka dari hadapanmu

Deuteronomy 9:5

Bukan kesalihan atau ketulusan hatimu yang membuat kamu dapat masuk dan menduduki negeri mereka melainkan kerana kefasiqan bangsa-bangsa itulah maka Tuhan Allahmu mengusir mereka dari hadapanmu demi menepati janji yang diikrarkan Tuhan atas sumpah kepada nenek moyangmu iaitu Abraham Ishak dan Yakub
