Apabila terdengar kata-kata ancaman yang mengerikan itu berkabunglah umat itu tiada sesiapa pun antara mereka memakai barang perhiasan

Amos berkata Datanglah Tuhan dengan mengaum dari Sion dan dari Yerusalem kedengaran tempikan suara-Nya Pudar dan berkabunglah padang-padang ragut dan layulah puncak Gunung Karmel
