Exodus 32:9

Firman Tuhan lagi kepada Musa Aku telah melihat bangsa ini Sesungguhnya mereka memang bangsa yang keras kepala

Exodus 33:3

Pergilah ke negeri yang berlimpah-limpah susu dan madu itu Atas sebab kamu umat yang keras kepala Aku sendiri tidak akan hadir menyertai kamu agar Aku tidak membinasakan kamu ketika kamu dalam perjalanan

Exodus 33:5

Firman Tuhan kepada Musa Katakanlah kepada orang Israel Kamu ini umat yang keras kepala Jika Aku hadir menyertai kalangan kamu walaupun sekadar sedetik sahaja tentu Aku akan membinasakan kamu Sekarang tanggalkanlah perhiasanmu dan Aku akan mempertimbangkan apa yang akan Kulakukan terhadapmu

Exodus 34:9

Dia berkata Ya Tuhan jika Engkau benar-benar berkenan kepadaku maka hadirlah kiranya Tuhan menyertai kami biarpun memang bangsa ini bangsa yang keras kepala Namun begitu ampunkanlah kesalahan dan dosa kami serta terimalah kami untuk menjadi milik-Mu

Oleh sebab itu ketahuilah bahawa bukan kerana kesalihanmu maka Tuhan Allahmu mengurniakan kepadamu negeri yang baik itu untuk diduduki Sesungguhnya engkau memang bangsa yang keras kepala
