Exodus 31:14

Maka peliharalah hari Sabat kerana hari itu hari yang suci bagimu Sesiapa yang mencemarinya pastilah dihukum mati kerana sesiapa pun yang melakukan pekerjaan pada hari itu nyawanya harus dilenyapkan daripada kalangan bangsanya

Leviticus 11:38

Tetapi jika benih itu telah diairi lalu sebahagian daripada bangkai haiwan itu jatuh menimpanya maka benih itu menjadi najis bagimu

Kamu harus menghancurkan segala bangsa yang diserahkan Tuhan Allahmu kepadamu Jangan berasa hiba terhadap mereka dan jangan beribadat kepada tuhan mereka kerana hal itu akan menjadi jerat bagimu

Segala yang tidak bersirip dan tidak bersisik jangan kamu makan Haiwan itu haram bagimu
