Kemudian Raja Nebukadnezar memanggil wakil raja penguasa pembesar penasihat negara bendahara hakim ahli hukum dan semua pegawai wilayah untuk menghadiri perasmian patung yang telah didirikan Raja Nebukadnezar itu

Maka wakil raja penguasa pembesar penasihat negara bendahara hakim ahli hukum dan semua pegawai wilayah berkumpul menghadiri perasmian patung yang telah didirikan Raja Nebukadnezar Mereka berdiri di hadapan patung yang telah didirikan Nebukadnezar itu

Semua penyelia kerajaan ini para penguasa dan para wakil raja para menteri dan para pembesar telah bermuafakat untuk membuat suatu ketetapan kerajaan dan mengukuhkan suatu titah larangan siapa pun yang memohonkan sesuatu dalam tiga puluh hari ini kepada tuhan atau manusia mana pun selain Tuanku Raja hendaklah dia dihumban ke dalam gua singa
