Jeremiah 35:8

Kami mentaati perkataan Yonadab anak Rekhab leluhur kami dalam segala hal yang diamanatkannya kepada kami Itulah sebabnya kami isteri kami serta anak-anak kami baik lelaki mahupun perempuan tidak minum air anggur seumur hidup kami

Jeremiah 35:18

Kemudian Yeremia berkata kepada kaum Rekhab Beginilah firman Tuhan alam semesta Allah Israel Kerana kamu telah mentaati pesan Yonadab leluhurmu telah berpegang teguh pada segala amanatnya dan telah bertindak selaras dengan semua yang diamanatkannya kepadamu
