Jeremiah 5:11

Keturunan kaum Israel dan keturunan kaum Yehuda telah sangat khianat terhadap Aku demikianlah firman Tuhan

Keturunan kaum Israel pun tidak akan menaruh harapan kepada Mesir lagi Sebaliknya mereka akan mengingat kesalahan mereka ketika mereka berpaling kepada Mesir dahulu untuk meminta pertolongan Maka mereka akan tahu bahawa Akulah Tuhan Allah

Obadiah 1:18

Keturunan kaum Yakub akan menjadi bak api dan keturunan Yusuf menjadi nyala api tetapi keturunan kaum Esau akan menjadi tunggul jerami mereka akan membakar dan memakan habis semua mereka hinggakan tidak ada seorang pun daripada keturunan kaum Esau yang terlepas kerana Tuhan telah berfirman demikian
