Kelak apabila Tuhan telah membawa kamu masuk ke negeri bani Kanaan bani Het bani Amori bani Hewi dan bani Yebus negeri yang telah Dia janjikan dengan bersumpah kepada nenek moyangmu untuk dikurniakan kepadamu iaitu negeri yang berlimpah-limpah susu dan madu maka kamu harus melaksanakan ibadat ini pada bulan ini juga

Malaikat-Ku akan berjalan di depanmu dan membawamu ke negeri bani Amori bani Het bani Feris bani Kanaan bani Hewi serta bani Yebus dan Aku akan memusnahkan mereka sama sekali

Meskipun demikian bani Yehuda tidak dapat mengusir bani Yebus penduduk Yerusalem itu Jadi orang Yebus tinggal bersama-sama bani Yehuda di Yerusalem sampai hari ini
