Darah itu akan menjadi tanda bagimu di rumah-rumah yang kamu diami Apabila Aku melihat darah itu maka Aku akan melalui kamu sehingga rumahmu tidak ditimpa azab kemusnahan pada waktu Aku mengazabkan Tanah Mesir

Exodus 12:23

kerana Tuhan akan melintas untuk mengazabkan warga Mesir Apabila Dia melihat darah pada ambang pintu serta kedua-dua tiang pintu sesebuah rumah maka Tuhan akan melalui pintu itu dan tidak membiarkan pemusnah masuk ke dalam rumahmu untuk mengazabkan kamu
