Exodus 8:9

Kata Musa kepada Firaun Katakan sahaja kepadaku bila harus aku berdoa untukmu untuk para pegawaimu dan untuk rakyatmu supaya katak-katak itu disingkirkan daripadamu dan dari rumah-rumahmu sehingga ada di Sungai Nil sahaja

Exodus 8:11

Katak-katak itu akan disingkirkan daripadamu dari rumah-rumahmu daripada para pegawaimu dan daripada rakyatmu hingga ada di Sungai Nil sahaja

Kata mereka Sungguhkah Tuhan berfirman melalui Musa sahaja Bukankah Dia juga berfirman melalui kita Dan Tuhan mendengar hal itu

Gideon pun berkata kepada Allah Semoga tidak berbangkit kemurkaan-Mu terhadap aku apabila aku berkata sekali lagi sahaja biarkanlah aku sekali lagi sahaja menguji bulu domba ini kali ini semoga kekeringan hanya pada bulu domba ini sedangkan ada embun di atas seluruh tanah itu
