Masing-masing mencampakkan tongkatnya lalu tongkat-tongkat itu menjadi ular Tetapi tongkat Harun menelan tongkat-tongkat mereka

Maka berbicaralah Musa kepada orang Israel lalu semua pemimpin mereka memberikan tongkat masing-masing kepadanya Setiap pemimpin memberikan sebatang tongkat menurut suku kaum mereka maka terdapat sejumlah dua belas batang tongkat Tongkat Harun pun ada antara tongkat-tongkat itu
