Aku akan membawa kamu ke negeri yang dengan bersumpah Aku berjanji akan Kukurniakan kepada Abraham Ishak dan Yakub Aku akan mengurniakannya kepadamu untuk menjadi milikmu Akulah Tuhan

Pada waktu itu pun Aku bersumpah kepada mereka bahawa Aku akan membawa mereka keluar dari Tanah Mesir ke tanah yang Kupilih bagi mereka sebuah negeri yang berlimpah-limpah susu dan madu termulia antara semua negeri

Aku juga bersumpah kepada mereka di gurun bahawa Aku akan mencerai-beraikan mereka di antara bangsa serta menyerakkan mereka di pelbagai negeri

Namun demikian kerana mereka telah melayani bangsa itu di depan berhala mereka serta menjadi batu sandungan yang menyebabkan keturunan kaum Israel terjatuh ke dalam kesalahan maka Aku bersumpah mengenai mereka demikianlah firman Tuhan Allah bahawa mereka akan menanggung kesalahan sendiri
