Lalu para tukang kerah Firaun memukul para mandur orang Israel yang diangkat oleh mereka untuk menyelia bangsa mereka sambil berkata Mengapa kelmarin ataupun hari ini jumlah batu bata yang kamu buat tidak menurut jumlah yang ditetapkan iaitu seperti dahulu

Maka Tuhan mengurniakan seorang penyelamat kepada orang Israel sehingga mereka terlepas daripada tekanan orang Aram Orang Israel pun tinggal di khemah-khemah mereka seperti dahulu
