Lalu malaikat Tuhan menampakkan diri kepadanya dalam api bernyala di tengah-tengah sebuah belukar Maka Musa melihat api menyala-nyala di tengah belukar itu walhal api itu tidak memakan pun belukar itu

Exodus 3:4

Apabila Tuhan melihat Musa menghampiri-Nya Allah pun berseru kepadanya dari tengah-tengah belukar itu firman-Nya Musa Musa Lalu dia menjawab Ya aku ada di sini

Exodus 4:2

Firman Tuhan kepadanya Apakah yang ada di tanganmu itu Jawab Musa Tongkat

Exodus 4:6

Firman Tuhan lagi kepadanya Masukkanlah tanganmu ke dalam bajumu Musa memasukkan tangannya ke dalam bajunya Setelah dikeluarkan tampak tangannya dijangkiti kusta putih seperti salji

Exodus 4:13

Akan tetapi Musa berkata Ya Tuhan hamba mohon utuslah orang lain sesiapa sahaja yang patut Kauutus

Exodus 8:10

Kata Firaun Esok Lalu kata Musa Jadilah seperti katamu itu supaya engkau tahu bahawa tidak ada yang seperti Tuhan Allah kami

Kata Firaun kepada Musa Nyahlah dari hadapanku Awas jangan pandang mukaku lagi kerana pada waktu engkau memandang mukaku engkau akan mati

Kata Musa kepada mereka Inilah yang telah difirmankan Tuhan Esok ialah hari istirahat penuh takzim Sabat yang suci bagi Tuhan sebab itu bakarlah apa yang perlu kamu bakar dan rebuslah apa yang perlu kamu rebus Yang selebihnya hidang dan simpanlah sampai pagi

Akhirnya sampailah Yitro mertua Musa berserta anak-anak dan isteri Musa di gurun tempat Musa berkhemah dekat dengan gunung Allah itu

Kata Musa kepada umat itu Bersiap sedialah menjelang hari ketiga Jangan bersentuh dengan perempuan

Jawab Musa Yang kudengar bukan bunyi teriakan kemenangan dan bukan bunyi teriakan kekalahan melainkan bunyi orang menyanyi berbalas-balasan

Kata Musa kepada mereka Beginilah firman Tuhan Allah Israel Hunuslah pedang kamu masing-masing Lintasilah perkhemahan ini dari pintu ke pintu dan bunuhlah saudara sahabat dan tetangga masing-masing

Berfirmanlah Tuhan kepada Musa secara berhadapan muka sama seperti manusia bercakap dengan sahabatnya Setelah itu kembalilah Musa ke perkhemahan tetapi Yosua anak Nun pemuda yang menjadi penolongnya tidak meninggalkan khemah itu

Exodus 33:15

Kata Musa kepada-Nya Jika hadirat-Mu tidak memimpin aku janganlah kami dibawa pergi dari sini

Kata Musa Tunjukkanlah kiranya kepadaku kemuliaan-Mu

Kemudian Tuhan melintas di hadapan Musa lalu berseru Tuhan ya Tuhan Allah penyayang dan pengasih panjang sabar serta berlimpah kasih dan setia

Selama empat puluh hari empat puluh malam Musa berada di sana bersama-sama Tuhan dan selama itulah dia tidak makan roti dan tidak minum air dan dia menulis firman perjanjian iaitu Sepuluh Perintah di atas loh-loh batu itu

Sesudah itu seluruh orang Israel mendekatinya lalu Musa mengamanatkan kepada mereka semua yang difirmankan Tuhan kepadanya di atas Gunung Sinai

Pada hari Musa mengurapi dan mentahbiskan mereka Tuhan memerintahkan agar orang Israel memberikan bahagian itu kepada mereka dan itulah peruntukan tetap untuk mereka selama-lamanya turun-temurun

Orang yang telah diutus Musa mengintip negeri itu namun kembali dengan menyampaikan laporan buruk mengenai negeri itu sehingga seluruh umat bersungut-sungut kepada Musa
