Tempoh masa yang panjang itu menyaksikan kemangkatan raja Mesir Orang Israel masih berkeluh-kesah kerana diperhamba sedemikian teruk Maka berseru-serulah mereka hingga doa dan teriakan mereka mengenai perhambaan itu sampai ke hadirat Allah
