Setelah Yakub selesai berpesan kepada anak-anaknya dia pun menarikkan kedua-dua belah kakinya ke atas tempat tidur Kemudian dia menghembuskan nafasnya yang terakhir lalu terkumpullah dia bersama-sama para leluhurnya
