Genesis 47:4

Kata mereka pula kepada Firaun Kami datang untuk tinggal di negeri ini sebagai pendatang kerana bencana kebuluran di Tanah Kanaan itu begitu hebat sehingga tidak ada lagi padang rumput bagi kawanan domba hamba-hambamu ini Sekarang izinkanlah hamba-hambamu ini tinggal di Tanah Gosyen

Genesis 47:13

Sampailah masanya tidak ada lagi makanan di seluruh negeri itu kerana begitu hebatnya bencana kebuluran yang melanda Tanah Mesir dan Tanah Kanaan menderita bahana bencana kebuluran itu
