Genesis 44:10

Jawab orang itu Baik kamu telah mengusul hukumanmu Sesiapa yang didapati menyimpan barang itu akan menjadi hambaku tetapi yang lain bebas daripada kesalahan

Oleh sebab itu aku penuh dengan murka Tuhan aku kepayahan menahannya Curahkannya kepada kanak-kanak di jalan dan kepada kumpulan pemuda sekali gus Baik suami mahupun isteri akan ditangkap juga orang tua dan orang yang lanjut usia

Jika aku keluar ke padang tampaklah orang yang terbunuh oleh pedang Jika aku memasuki kota tampaklah orang yang menderita oleh bencana kebuluran Baik nabi mahupun imam berkelana ke negeri yang tidak dikenali mereka

Jeremiah 23:11

Baik nabi mahupun imam berlaku mungkar bahkan di dalam Bait-Ku Aku dapati kejahatan mereka demikianlah firman Tuhan

Kawanan haiwan akan berbaring di tengah-tengahnya iaitu segala jenis binatang liar Baik burung undan mahupun landak akan bermalam di kepala-kepala tiangnya Suara nyanyi akan kedengaran di jendela dan akan ada kemusnahan di ambang pintu kerana kayu araz telah terbongkar
