Esther 8:7

Titah Raja Ahasyweros kepada Ratu Ester dan kepada Mordekhai orang Yahudi itu Sesungguhnya aku telah memberikan harta pusaka Haman kepada Ester dan Haman sendiri telah digantung di tempat penggantungan atas sebab dia berniat memusnahkan orang Yahudi

Esther 9:2

Berkumpullah orang Yahudi di kota-kota raya mereka di seluruh wilayah Raja Ahasyweros untuk memusnahkan orang yang merancangkan kejahatan terhadap mereka Tiada seorang pun yang dapat bertahan menghadapi mereka atas sebab semua bangsa dilanda oleh rasa takut terhadap orang Yahudi
