Esther 2:15

Ketika tiba giliran Ester anak Abihail iaitu bapa saudara Mordekhai yang mengambil Ester sebagai anak angkatnya untuk masuk menghadap raja dia tidak meminta apa-apa selain yang dianjurkan oleh Hegai sida raja yang bertugas menjaga para perempuan Maka Ester menimbulkan rasa sayang di mata semua orang yang melihat dia

Esther 7:7

Dalam kemurkaannya raja segera meninggalkan jamuan air anggur itu lalu pergi ke taman istana Tetapi Haman terus berada di situ untuk meminta nyawanya daripada Ratu Ester kerana sedarlah dia betapa raja telah memutuskan untuk menghukumnya dengan dahsyat sekali

Daniel 1:8

Daniel bertekad untuk tidak menajiskan diri dengan santapan atau minuman anggur diraja Oleh sebab itu dia meminta kepada ketua pegawai istana supaya diizinkan untuk tidak menajiskan diri
