Sementara Ezra berdoa dan mengaku dosa menangis dan bersujud di hadapan Rumah Allah berkumpullah di sekelilingnya orang Israel yang terdiri daripada lelaki perempuan dan anak-anak dalam jumlah yang sangat besar Umat itu pun menangis tersedu-sedu
