Oleh sebab rezeki kami datangnya daripada istana dan tidak patut bagi kami melihat maruah Raja tercela maka kami mengirim pesan ini untuk memberitahukan hal ini kepada Raja

Daniel 3:27

Seterusnya fasal tuanku melihat seorang malaikat pengawal seorang yang suci turun dari langit dan berkata Tebanglah pokok itu dan binasakanlah dia Namun demikian biarkanlah tunggul dan akarnya di tanah terikat dengan besi dan gangsa di atas rumput muda di padang Biarlah embun dari langit membasahinya dan biarlah dia mendapat bahagian bersama dengan binatang liar sampai tujuh tempoh masa berlalu baginya

Pada saat itu juga muncullah jari-jari tangan manusia menulis pada kapur dinding istana raja di hadapan kaki pelita Raja melihat belakang tangan yang sedang menulis itu

Sebaliknya tuanku meninggikan diri terhadap Tuhan semesta langit dan menyuruh membawa wadah-wadah dari Bait-Nya kepada tuanku Lalu tuanku para pembesar tuanku para isteri dan para gundik tuanku minum air anggur daripada wadah itu Tuanku memuji tuhan-tuhan yang dibuat daripada perak emas gangsa besi kayu dan batu yang tidak dapat melihat mendengar atau mengetahui sesuatu Tetapi Allah yang memegang nafas tuanku dan segala jalan hidup tuanku tidak tuanku besarkan
