Ezra 4:12

Dimaklumkan kepada Raja bahawa orang Yahudi yang berangkat dari kerajaan Tuanku ke tempat kami telah tiba di Yerusalem Mereka sedang membina kembali kota yang derhaka dan jahat itu Temboknya sudah selesai dibina oleh mereka dan asasnya sedang digali oleh mereka

Ezra 5:1

Maka bernubuatlah dua orang nabi iaitu Nabi Hagai dan Nabi Zakharia anak Ido kepada orang Yahudi yang tinggal di Yehuda dan di Yerusalem dengan nama Allah Israel yang menaungi mereka

Namun begitu mata Allah mereka tertuju kepada tua-tua orang Yahudi sehingga mereka tidak dikerah untuk menghentikan kerja sampai laporan diterima oleh Darius dan kemudian dibalas dengan kiriman surat jawapan tentang hal itu

Biarkanlah pembinaan Rumah Allah itu dikerjakan Biarkanlah pembesar orang Yahudi dan tua-tua orang Yahudi membina semula Rumah Allah itu di tempat asalnya

Tambahan pula dengan ini aku memberikan perintah tentang bagaimana kamu harus membantu tua-tua orang Yahudi itu membina semula Bait Allah itu perbelanjaan mereka itu hendaklah dibiayai sepenuhnya daripada perbendaharaan kerajaan tanpa berlengah iaitu cukai yang terpungut dari daerah seberang Sungai Efrat

Ezra 6:14

Para tua-tua orang Yahudi pun meneruskan pembinaan itu dengan baik di bawah sokongan nubuat Nabi Hagai dan Zakharia anak Ido Mereka terus membina dan menyelesaikan bait itu menurut perintah Allah Israel serta menurut ketetapan para raja Parsi iaitu Kores Darius dan Artahsasta

Daniel 3:12
